How to get to the Town Centre

BY PLANE:

Lamezia international airport + local train to Tropea train station (1 hour trip), taxi upon demand. ( 45 minutes trip )

BY CAR:

Take the motorway A2 (Sa-RC), direction Reggio Calabria, the exit is: Pizzo C. then follow the directions to Tropea. When you are close to Tropea, stay on your right and go slow. At the roundabout turn LEFT direction CENTRO – CAPO VATICANO and drive for 1 km, before a big tunnel, you’ ll find the entrance TROPEA on the right. Enter Tropea, get down for 500 metres, then at the end of the road turn left, go on for 200 metres then turn right passing a small bridge. You are in VIA PIETRO RUFFO DI CALABRIA, you can park on the left side. From the parking is only 10 minutes walk to your apartment in the town centre. ( TOWN CENTRE IS CLOSED TO ALL THE VEHICLES OF NON RESIDENTIAL PEOPLE). After parking walk always straight ahead through viale STAZIONE (Intesa San Paolo Bank on your right), largo PORTANOVA and Corso V. Emanuele (tobacco store on your right) for 800 metres untill you get piazza Ercole where there is the Proloco/tourist information, Cafe De Paris with white chairs and the monument of Pasquale Galluppi. After arriving in piazza Ercole turn right to VIA ROMA (direction DUOMO/CATTEDRALE), at the end of piazza Duomo there is the restaurant pizzeria Il NORMANNO and on your left  VIA PONTORIERI, the building is the first on the left.

How to get to the Seaside Area

BY TRAIN:

After arriving at Tropea train station, turn left and go straight for 100 metres, at the end of the road turn left, pass a small bridge and go on always straight down through via stazione until you get piazza PORTANOVA. On your right there is a road down to the beach (direction sea, mare), take this road and walk down, while you are walking down you will see the pine forest and behind the pine forest you ll see  ANANEA Tropea Resort. ( DO NOT ASK ANY INFO AT THE RECEPTION OF THE HOTEL ON THE RIGHT, THERE ARE MORE THAN 400 UNITS AND THE HOTEL MANAGES ONLY THE HOTEL ROOMS), enter the main entrance of Ananea Tropea and walk for 100 metres then turn right, there is a 6^th floor building.  On the left there is the porter ( portiere), enter the building, go straight on to the elevator, take the elevator and push 2, get out the elevator and turn left there is a door number 18, ask the owner the entering code, on the left side there is the MARINA apartment, on the right there is the LEDIANA apartament, enter your apartment, you ll find the keys at the keyhole. ( the common door number 18 must be closed, NOT LOCKED by your key). 

BY CAR:

take the A3 SA-RC highway direction REGGIO CALABRIA. Exit PIZZO C. (it’s the first exit on your right). Follow the directions to Tropea staying always along the coast. 1 km before Tropea stay always on your right and enter Tropea through TROPEA LUNGOMARE – PORTO. Pass the bridge and at the end of the bridge turn left down to the Touristic Port ( MARE – SEASIDE – ). Go down the road for 1 km then turn left, pass the port ( which is on your right) and after 1 km you will see the pine forest on your left. Turn left, behind the pine forest that is opposite to the port there is the main entrance of Ananea Tropea Resort. Park the car down the trees in front of the main entrance of Ananea resort or around the area, and walk for 100 metres, then turn right, there is a 6^th floor building. At the ground floor there is the porter Mrs MIMMA, your apartments are on the second floor, ( you can take the elevator and after getting the second floor turn left), the door is number 18, ask the owner the opening code, on the right side there is LEDIANA apartment, on the left MARINA apartment.
